There are two student profiles:
- Those who integrate animal-assisted therapy into their current helping profession
- Those who will practice as animal-assisted therapists independently
Employment prospects largely depend on your skills and efforts to make yourself known and develop your clientele.
The Corporation of Animal-Assisted Therapists of Quebec has set the hourly rate for an animal-assisted therapist between $70 and $90 per hour. The salary should be directly related to the expenses of the service provided.
The number of available spots is at the administration’s discretion. We have spots available as long as our organization and course management allow, to ensure the smooth delivery of the training.
Due to restrictions and the high number of students currently in training, it is currently not possible to observe a session with our team. However, we can arrange a video conference meeting to show you an intervention and answer your questions.
