À propos

After completing a Physical Rehabilitation Technician program in 2008, Élise earned a Bachelor’s degree, then a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy in 2012. From 2013 to 2017, she practiced as an occupational therapist with clients presenting intellectual disabilities or autism spectrum disorders. She also has experience with a diverse clientele, gained through her internships and work experience in community and residential settings, as well as through volunteer work and humanitarian trips she has undertaken.

Her passion for animals is unwavering! For several years, Élise has cherished the dream of combining her helping skills with the benefits of animal presence. That’s why she embarked on zootherapy training. With this new skill, she is certain that using animals as a therapeutic modality facilitates the achievement of goals aimed at improving the well-being of the clients she works with, by lowering barriers and engaging their motivation.
