It is to confirm that the dog’s natural aptitudes can be expressed in a professional setting.<\/div>

A concrete example<\/div>

Two puppies begin their preparation.<\/div>

The first recovers quickly when discovering a new environment.<\/div>
<\/div>
It spontaneously returns to its handler.<\/div>
<\/div>
It remains curious and engaged.<\/div>
<\/div>
The second regularly shows significant discomfort when faced with new things.<\/div>
<\/div>
Despite progressive and respectful work, these reactions persist.<\/div>

The goal is not to force the second puppy to become a partner animal at all costs.<\/div>

The goal is to question whether this career truly suits it.<\/div>

To protect is sometimes to know when to say no<\/div>

In animal-assisted intervention, we do not seek to manufacture a partner animal.<\/div>
<\/div>
We first seek to identify a candidate who possesses the fundamental aptitudes for this role.<\/div>
<\/div>
We then invest in thoughtful preparation that will develop these qualities without going against its true nature.<\/div>
<\/div>
This approach relies on rigorous selection, objective evaluation, progressive preparation, and certification that protect the beneficiary, the professional, and the animal itself.<\/div>

Because all dogs deserve to succeed.<\/strong><\/div>
<\/div>

But not all of them are made to succeed in the same mission.<\/strong><\/h3>
