Personalized Training – Course Credit
If you hold a diploma in a helping relationship field, animal health, or animal behavior, it is possible to receive course credits and establish a personalized training plan with the support of your diploma(s).
You just need to submit your request (cost of $100 + taxes) on our online store.
REGISTRATION AND FILE ANALYSIS FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE IN CASE OF CANCELLATION OR WITHDRAWAL.
Once we have received your payment and documents, our team will review your file and can determine your credited courses based on your profile. We cannot tell you your credited courses without you having submitted the request on our online store.
Course outlines may be required, and no credit is granted based on experience. The procedure for sending us your documents is explained on our online store.
We allow ourselves a period of 2 weeks to send you your personalized profile, after receiving all necessary documents.
Having credited courses can therefore reduce the cost of your training. Everything will be indicated in your personalized profile that you will receive by email.
For individuals who are nearing the end of their training, please note that your personalized profile is conditional on obtaining your diploma.
The file analysis is valid as long as we do not make major changes to our training. It is therefore impossible for us to guarantee the analysis for a period longer than one year.
Your Registration
To validate your registration, you must :
Make your payment for registration and file analysis fees on our store according to your profile.
Following your payment, we will send you a payment agreement and a personalized schedule.
If you have a diploma in a field related to the training, you can make your payment for registration and file analysis at the same time, always directly in the store section of our website.
Other Information
Students may be occasionally absent (maximum 7 days) without being penalized regarding the training progress.
You are not required to have a partner animal to take the training. If you already have a partner animal, it will be welcome for its evaluation (animal module courses) as well as animal management in intervention courses and internships, depending on its evaluation.
We do not require prerequisites to join our training. Only holding a high school diploma (Secondary 5) and being available for classes to participate. It is not mandatory to have a background in helping relationships to join our training.

The Quebec Animal-Assisted Therapists Corporation has set the hourly rate for an animal-assisted therapist between $70 and $90/hour. The salary determination should be directly related to the expenses of the service provided.

The number of available spots is at the administration’s discretion. We have spots available as long as our organization and course management allow, to ensure the smooth delivery of the training.
